The island has 120 miles of coast with 30 miles of pristine beaches perfect for water sports like surfing, SUP and snorkeling. Cycling in Maui is also world-class – it has one of the longest downhill mountain bike trails in the world that starts at 10,000 ft elevation. Whether you paddle out to see Maui’s sea life up close or shred the Haleakala singletrack, Maui has something to surprise you.

For beginners, Kihei’s cove with its shallow waters and consistent waves are great for stand up paddle boarding and kayaking.
