Q What comes with my rental?

All rental bikes come with a complete flat kit and two bottle cages.

Q What pedals do you have?

We have a basic assortment of flat pedals, Shimano SPD and SPD-SL pedals, Look KEO pedals, and Speedplay Zero Pedals. If your pedal is not on this list we recommend you bring it with you and we would be happy to install them for you.

Q What about a helmet?

We have an assortment of helmets available upon request.

Q What's in my flat kit?

The repair kit includes a spare tube, tire levers, a patch kit, co2 and inflator, and a multi tool. You will be charged for any tubes you use.

Q Do you give locks?

We do not give out locks with our rentals. Bike theft is prominent in Honolulu so we encourage you to keep your bike with you at all times. Most hotels are OK with you bringing your bike in your room. If you MUST lock your bike we do have locks available for purchase but you do so at your own risk. We are not liable for stolen bikes.

Q What about shoes?

Due to size restrictions and sanitary concerns we do not rent shoes. We recommend you bring your own. We have a fantastic selection of shoes for sale as well.

Q Where should I ride?

We are happy to give you some routes to try when you pick up your bike. We also offer custom tours or you may join one of our group rides. You can find more info on our group rides on our website.

Q Is riding in Hawaii safe?

Our city is still a developing bike community. We have more bike lanes than ever and more cyclists than ever on our roads. Hawaii drivers are quite friendly but we do have busy rush hours, you may want to plan your route or your ride time around them.

Q Why is my total at checkout zero?

We take your card info to hold your reservation and we use it in place of a security deposit. You will be charged for your rental at pickup and may pay with the same card or any other method, including cash. You must have a card to reserve a bike.

Q Are there any specials?

A week rental will get charged for five days instead of seven. If you plan on renting for more than a month, give us a call.

Q What if I want to rent during a holiday?

ITB is open for most minor holidays. In the event we are closed, you will NOT be able to return the bike that day. You may either return the day before or the day after. If you return the day after you will still pay for the day we are closed. Please plan accordingly.

Q Can you use my fit data?

We are happy to set up saddle height and stack. You can include any relevant info in the “notes” section. We do not swap any components including stems.

Q Can you deliver or pick up my rental bike(s)?

Yes we can, pickup and delivery start at $50. Please let us know if you wish to use this service. We will do our best to work with your schedule.
